Commemorating the 69th Indonesian Independence Day, KJRI Sydney together with IGA hosted a social golf event for Indonesian golf community and their friends at Moore Park Golf Course in Sydney. We thanked all of our participants, including those who flew all the way down from Brisbane on the day to support the event, and one of them took with them the winning trophy too.

The event was held successfully with approximately 42 participants hit off at 1 PM in shotgun format in a relatively friendly weather on Sunday 19th October 2014. We are honoured to have our new Consulate General, Dr. Yayan GH Mulyana of his presence and for taking up the symbolic opening tee-off shot. The game was then followed by dinner at the KJRI office in Maroubra with an authentic traditional Indonesian yellow coconut rice supplied by Charisma Catering.

This event was initiated by KJRI office, organised by IGA Sydney, sponsored by (and thanks to) Mr. Uun Setiawan – Vice President of Garuda Indonesia Sydney, Miss Tinny Wijaya of Smile International Travel, and Mr. Marco Riberio – Manager of Nespresso Australia.
