On Sunday November 15th 2009, Indonesian Golf Association (IGA) Sydney held Sumatra Earthquake Charity Golf Day at Camden Lakeside Country Club with approximately 80 participants. The purpose of this event is to raise money to help the surviving victims of West Sumatra eartquake, which we successfully raised $6,950. The raised fund is handled by Indonesian Consulate General Sydney office, to be re-directed to the appropriate channel locally in Indonesia.

As you may aware Indonesia state of West Sumatra was affected by devastating earthquake with magnitude of 7.6 recently. The devastation is expected to affect more than 1000 people and the affected community will need big support to re-build their lives.
Indonesian Golf Association, endorsed by the office of Consulate General of The Republic of Indonesia Sydney Australia would like to invite you to be part of this good cause to rebuild lives in a form of monetary support the following event.
